S/4HANA Enterprise Management is the new ERP generation from SAP AG. It uses SAP HANA as a new technological platform that optimally utilizes the strengths of "in-memory" technology. In addition to this technical transformation, S/4HANA also introduces a significant change in content and further development as compared to the previous R/3 ERP system. The system processes are harmonized, simplified and accelerated along the entire end-to-end process chain and a new web-based user interface – the Fiori apps – supports them.
Business Transformation with S/4HANA
The introduction of S/4HANH is not a simple variation of a release or a mere technical upgrade. On the contrary: it is a comprehensive transformation project based on new and modified processes, functions, and a modified IT landscape that effects the entire company (or at least most of it). During the launch, it is therefore important to have an overall view while considering the existing business model.
Together we develop the roadmap for launching S/4HANA. The following issues are crucial to a successful outcome:
- Target operating model (operational readiness)
- Management concept (managerial readiness)
- Data quality (data readiness)
- Project and change management (organizational enablement)
Your roadmap to S/4HANA
We recommend carrying out a preliminary study to assess the extent to which S/4HANA's potential is feasible in your company and how much the expected cost would be. This can be used to assess the company's specific level of willingness, opportunities and risks, which can then be used to develop a clear roadmap for the launch of S/4HANA.
