International management consultancy Horváth has added an experienced restructuring specialist to its team with the appointment of Matthias Wolf. Wolf, who previously served as Director Turnaround & Restructuring at Deloitte, joined Horváth’s Performance Improvement, Restructuring & Transactions segment on January 1, 2026.

After completing his degree in industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe and an initial role as a logistics planner at Porsche, the 44‑year‑old began his consulting career in 2009 at Porsche Consulting. He subsequently held positions at AlixPartners and within the Schwarz Group, where he most recently served as Managing Director, leading supply chain management for Lidl Digital International. Prior to joining Horváth, Wolf held the role of Director Turnaround & Restructuring at Deloitte, where he specialized in operational restructuring and turnaround programs.
At Horváth, Wolf will primarily focus on expanding the Performance Improvement and Restructuring offering across the automotive, industrial goods, and retail sectors.
