Daniel Naeff is Head of Innovation at the ETH AI Center, ETH Zurich’s center of excellence for AI. As a versatile entrepreneur and early-stage investor, he bridges the gap between scientific insights and practical implementation. He helps boards of directors navigate AI-driven change and advises companies and government organizations on the strategic use of AI. His close connection to the latest research findings and applications in the field of AI enables him to provide multifaceted and cutting-edge insights. He is the Research & Innovation Topic Lead for the AI Action Plan Switzerland and is a driving force behind Apertus for Finance, an open AI model for the financial industry.

Ralf Stärk, CFA, is Director and Product Area Lead Reporting & Analytics at Swiss Re. He oversees finance data, reporting, planning and analytics capabilities and drives AI adoption within Finance. With more than 15 years of experience across (re)insurance, consulting and enterprise transformation, he brings a practitioner's perspective on translating advances in AI into business applications and organizational capabilities.
Ralf holds a degree in Engineering and Management, is a CFA Charterholder, and a Chartered Financial Data Scientist (CFDS).
