Our new partners 2022

As part of our further international growth, we at Horváth have expanded our management team with seven new partners as of the new fiscal year: Sven Auert, Sascha Brosig, Frank Göller, Sascha Lindner, Stefan Maus, Dr. Stephanie Nöth-Zahn and Bálint Varga. What motivated them to pursue this path? And what are they most looking forward to in their new roles? We asked them exactely these and two other questions.

Sven Auert

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PARTNERSHIP! WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO PURSUE THIS PATH?
Ever since I joined Horváth, I have been inspired by our culture and team spirit. It was clear to me very early on that I wanted to become a partner, and to further develop our company in this role. For me, it is the biggest step in my career so far, and one that I have been working towards for a long time.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?
I'm looking forward to playing an even greater role in shaping Horváth's future and contributing lots of ideas. We have so much potential to grow further and actively support our clients in their transformations. To do this, we also need to develop ourselves further and move boundaries.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE: WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO MOST IN YOUR FREE TIME?
Our five kids have enough ideas on how to spend our free time, for example building a new tree house. Besides, we love being out in nature, using our caravan and spending time together by the sea.

WHAT TIPS WOULD YOU GIVE TO NEW COLLEAGUES?
Set yourself goals and pursue them consistently and patiently. Contribute actively to our company with your ideas, and trust in the team. Together we achieve so much more and in the end, we celebrate!

Sascha Brosig

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PARTNERSHIP! WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO PURSUE THIS PATH?
For more than 15 years I have found my professional home in consulting, because here I always have the opportunity to meet great people, always have to master new challenges and find the professional variety which I am looking for to realize myself. With the partnership, I would like to actively shape and develop this home.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?
Horváth has grown enormously in recent years and written its own success story. In my new position, I would like to write my own chapter in Horvath’s success story and actively shape my own contribution to growth.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE: WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO MOST IN YOUR FREE TIME?
I enjoy spending time with my 2 children and my wife. For a bit of variety, I ride my motorcycle or do handicrafts on my old 4-side yard.

WHAT TIPS WOULD YOU GIVE TO NEW COLLEAGUES?
Whether you are involved in a project or do internal tasks: Be curious and question critically, take advantage of our organization and seek advice. As a team we can multiply our skills and competences and successfully use them.

Frank Göller

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PARTNERSHIP! WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO PURSUE THIS PATH?
What excites me every day is the great variety of challenges in consulting as well as making a real difference in customer projects with our solutions and team spirit. Horváth has a unique culture, which I was already able to experience as an intern during my studies. I have always remembered this time with pleasure and this was additional motivation for me when I joined Horváth in 2013 after several years at an automotive supplier.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?
The automotive industry has characterized my entire professional career and, as we all know, is undergoing the greatest transformation since the invention of the automobile. My new role is a huge motivation for me to provide our customers with the best possible support during this phase of change and thus actively shape the path to the mobility of the future. I'm also looking forward to experiencing our culture and team spirit more often again at personal events.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE: WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO MOST IN YOUR FREE TIME?
My family is my personal "dream team" and is of course my focus in every free minute. We are sports enthusiasts and often enjoy the beautiful countryside and vineyards around Stuttgart. My ten-year-old son is a passionate soccer player and so we spend a lot of time on the soccer fields in the region or as VfB fans in the stadium. We love traveling, especially around the Mediterranean or to beautiful destinations in Asia.

WHAT TIPS WOULD YOU GIVE TO NEW COLLEAGUES?
It’s worth it to pursue one's goals with persistence, to always see the opportunities even in the face of great challenges, and to actively contribute with own ideas. Horváth's strategic orientation and our mindset offer optimal opportunities for this.

Sascha Lindner

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PARTNERSHIP! WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO PURSUE THIS PATH?
I have worked at Horváth for 17 years and joined as a consultant directly after graduating. I love working with my team and our clients and try to inspire and break new ground. Bringing exactly that into the partnership in an entrepreneurial way has motivated me and means a lot to me.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?
I am delighted to be able to shape the direction and future of Horváth even more intensively and broadly together with my partner colleagues. In my new role, I can take on even more responsibility in supporting our clients and in the further development of Horváth itself.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE: WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO MOST IN YOUR FREE TIME?
As a former soccerplayer, I still do a lot of sports in my free time like jogging, mountain climbing and hiking. In addition, I spend a lot of time with my girlfriend and my dog in the nature. What many people do not know about me: I love to bake!

WHAT TIPS WOULD YOU GIVE TO NEW COLLEAGUES?
Be curious and courageous and try out many new topics that you are passionate about. Horváth offers exactly this framework, the right culture and cooperation to develop personally in the best possible way. And most important: Have fun!

Stefan Maus

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PARTNERSHIP! WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO PURSUE THIS PATH?
I am thrilled to support our customers during their transformational journey. From concept to realization, we make a significant contribution to the successful change process. In addition, the Horváth culture, our unique spirit and the very good cooperation in the team play an essential role.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?
In my new role as a partner, I would like to get even more involved in the further development of Horváth. Strengthening our brand, our market position and our culture is particularly important to me. In addition, I would like to continue to develop innovative solutions and successfully realize them with our customers.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE: WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO MOST IN YOUR FREE TIME?
I love to travel, preferably with a backpack to warm places. I feel most comfortable at, on and under the water. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends – having good conversations and eating excellent food.

WHAT TIPS WOULD YOU GIVE TO NEW COLLEAGUES?

As a management consultant at Horváth you have endless opportunities for self-fulfillment, to grow together as a team as well as to support the growth of the company. You can contribute with your ideas, your values and your motivation – in client projects and Horváth-internally. Together we can achieve even more and celebrate further successes.

Dr. Stephanie Nöth-Zahn

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PARTNERSHIP! WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO PURSUE THIS PATH?
Thank you! I've always preferred to sit at the table and help shape decisions than sit by and wait. When I started in consulting, I thought I'd do it for 2-3 years and then I'd look for "a real job". But I quickly realized that there is nothing more perfect for me than constant new customers, new topics, new challenges. Every day is different, none are alike.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?
Our company is growing very fast, changing, tackling new topics and I am happy to be able to shape those changes. And in every new role that I took on, I had to learn a lot of new things and I'm actually really looking forward to that as well.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE: WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO MOST IN YOUR FREE TIME?
My children are 3 and 6 years old, so I still spend a lot of time in self-build caves, otherwise I love doing sports with loud hip-hop music playing and meeting my friends in the beer garden. Recently I also started learning the piano, but unfortunately, I have not talent whatsoever.

WHAT TIPS WOULD YOU GIVE TO NEW COLLEAGUES?

Never say never. Dare to do things, follow your instincts and sometimes take risks, success is on the other side of fear – sometimes that's true.

Bálint Varga

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE PARTNERSHIP! WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO PURSUE THIS PATH?
Consulting and managing client relationships have always been more than just a job for me. I started at Horváth 20 years ago, but I spent 11 years on the industry side, where I also worked with clients and commercial partners. In addition to my interest in the FMCG and retail industry, I have always been interested in and fascinated by the way companies operate. For me, it is very exciting and fun to be involved in solving corporate problems and supporting corporate developments. This is made even easier by the fact that I can do this in Horváth's supportive and collaborative culture.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?
Being part of a management team is very different from solving a client challenge in a project. Being involved in the business decisions I believe I can do even more for the success of the Horváth Group. In the future, I want to continue to build the retail and consumer goods client base and develop the team I lead.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE: WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO MOST IN YOUR FREE TIME?
I love spending my free time with my family, but I am also a big fan of contemporary literature, basketball and stand-up paddling.

WHAT TIPS WOULD YOU GIVE TO NEW COLLEAGUES?
I have heard some advice from a senior colleague that I think sums up how to be a successful consultant. "The most important thing is to keep your clients satisfied, then your team members, and only finally make sure your bosses are happy."
