Management Consultancy Horváth Acquires AI Startup and Unites AI Solutions Under New Brand Horváth.AI

  • Startup acquisition secures innovative, powerful AI platform and complementary AI expertise
  • AI to be integrated as an integral part of the entire consulting portfolio

Following the successful integration of the interim management platform interim-x, the management consultancy Horváth has expanded its portfolio with another strategic acquisition. The Stuttgart-based AI startup Studicon, with its own powerful AI platform, becomes Horváth's new brand Horváth.AI, under which the management consultancy will bundle its AI Solutions starting in December.

"The acquisition of Studicon and the consolidation of our AI solutions under the new Horváth.AI brand mark an important milestone in our AI strategy," says Helmut Ahr, CEO of the Horváth Group. "Our clients benefit from an innovative and flexible AI platform that enables the rapid development of customized use cases based on various AI models. Especially in the field of Automation Intelligence – that is, process automation powered by AI – this acquisition takes us a significant step forward, " says Ahr.

By combining Horváth's established solutions and expertise in the field of AI, BI & Data with the newly acquired AI startup, the business is set to be taken to a new level with AI-based solutions. "AI solutions will be integrated as a central component into the entire Horváth consulting portfolio," says Ahr.

"This acquisition significantly sharpens our AI profile, adding substantial innovation and implementation strength," says Horváth partner Dr. Matthias Emler, who is responsible for the AI, BI & Data division.

Even before the acquisition, the management consultancy had been working with the AI startup Studicon, which was founded in Stuttgart in 2020, to successfully develop innovative solutions for clients at an impressive pace. "The comprehensive tool knowledge, entrepreneurial understanding, and clear focus on achieving measurable EBIT effectiveness through the use of AI immediately convinced us during our collaboration," said Ahr.

The Horváth Group holds the majority stake in the new company Horváth.AI, whose managing director is Studicon founder Gabriel Senftle. "As part of Horváth, we will have even greater opportunities to drive AI transformations for large companies and SMEs across all industries, as well as internationally," says Senftle. Anton Plagemann, CTO and developer of Studicon's AI platform, will continue to drive further innovation under the new Horváth brand.
