Summer Schools

We want the participants on our seminars to take a little bit more time to learn new things than the time pressures of daily work generally permit.

More time to think outside the box, more time to reflect and to discuss, and more time to practice and to exchange ideas and opinions with those of like mind. That will enhance your professional skills, will provide impetus for your personal development and – last but not least – will be a lot more fun.

In order for this to succeed, the environment must be conducive. Our Summer Schools last for four and a half days, begin on Sunday afternoons in August and take place in the new Mövenpick Hotel in Hamburg.

What’s new in 2010?

Many aspects must be mastered to ensure successful corporate management, ranging not only from developing and implementing strategy to anchoring strategic goal-setting but also adapting processes and structures in the organization and aligning management control systems to ensure managers can check whether strategic and operative performance are on track – at any time.

To make sure you can learn about all the relevant aspects of corporate management at our Summer Schools, starting 2010 we now also offer the Summer School “Process Management” in addition to the two other programs “Strategic Management” and “Controlling”. This ensure we provide you with a comprehensive approach which enables you to sustainably improve performance within your organization.

We take the time to develop the seminar curriculum together with you in detail and demonstrate its applicability in daily work through company simulations, project examples and group work. We feel it is especially important to show you – in a quick and easy fashion – how advanced topics apply to your everyday working lives.
